What a perfect day for our Annual Doggie Derby! Lots of fun for adults and children, our four legged friends, some three legged friends and a mini pig that thinks they’re a pit bull. There were lots of activities including a bouncy house for the kids, Home Depot supplied pots and plants for the children to make, Lacey Recreation had a game and craft table to keep the young ones busy. Lots of good food supplied by a variety of food trucks. We even had some contests for the dogs and their owners. Lots of old cars supplied the Sentimental Cruisers and Vintage Automobile Club of NJ. Congratulations to the Best Dressed Dog- Muchitas, Best Dog Trick- Rodchester and Most Happy Dog- Grasie. Thank you to all the vendors and supporters for a great event. Congratulations to Jennifer of Barnegat, the winner of our Doggie Derby Raffle of dog supplies donated by Caporale Pet Supply. Thank you Bill Stanton from WBNJ for live coverage of the days events.
