District Newsletter Highlights Installation Dinner
An excerpt from the July District Newsletter
On Friday, June 14th, The Rotary Club of Forked River held their annual Installation Dinner at which time the Rotary Club thanks their outgoing Board of Directors for all they did for the previous year and welcomes the incoming Board. What made this year’s Installation Dinner memorable was it was the Club’s 40th Anniversary! Present to celebrate was Earl Sutton, the Club’s First President, (1973), Our Rotarians of the Decade, Veronica Laureigh and Dr. Thomas McGillick, and our incoming Board of Directors, led by our incoming President, Erin Eads.
It was an enjoyable night, full of fun, and celebration.

Forked River Rotarian member Earl Sutton gives an award to George Broome, George was a charter member of our club 40 years ago and is still an active member to this day! Earl Sutton was our first president back in 1973, and while he is no longer a member, he came back to help us celebrate 40 years of “Service above self."
