A Day of Fellowship and Handicapping at Monmouth Park
Sunday, September 27th, 2015

Thoroughbred racing is a sport full of excitement and one of the most highly anticipated races was held this past Sunday at Monmouth Racetrack!! The 8th Race was named for the Rotary Club of Forked River and more than 40 Rotarians were on hand to cheer on the winner! With a reserved area for the Rotary in the Grove, we all enjoyed a catered barbeque lunch and had our own handicapper to pass on the winning tips! President Diamond along with several other Rotarians were invited to the Winner's Circle to make the trophy presentation to the winner of the 8th race!! Thanks to Dr. Tom McGillick for putting together this day of fellowship, food and fun!!! Oh...and PS....The winner of the 8th race?.....Jersey Blues, of course!
