Rotary Club Fun Day and Checker Tournament
The Rotary Club of Forked River in conjunction with the Cedar Creek Campground sponsored a Family Fun Day at Cedar Creek Campground on Sunday, August 30th.
Thank you to all that came out and supported our Family Fun Day and Checker Tournament at Cedar Creek Campground yesterday. A special thanks to Rob and Debra for hosting, your venue was a perfect site for our event. Thank you Tom for being our Checker Commissioner and Referee! Those that attended enjoyed a nice day of swimming, fellowship and feasted on quite a hot dog buffet, complete with all the trimmings, including ice cream for dessert! Here are some pictures of early rounds, finals tables and Champions. Champions and finalists received their awards from President Diamond. Champions received a Checker Champion Trophy, Hat and Ribbon. Our own Bruce Halliday was crowned the champion of the 17+ age group!
