Rotary Club of Forked River 2ND ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
The day started out a little overcast, but by lunch time and tee off the sun was shining bright at this years outing.  Congratulations to all the golfers, members, and attendees, thank you for your support.
There were some good shots and lots of laughs as the golfers competed in the best ball format.  Low team score was -11, not too shabby.
Funds raised at our outing enabled our club to make donations to two local groups in our community.  First to Kelli Smith of Lacey Kids for a Cure- Alex’s Lemonade Stands to fund research to find a cure for pediatric cancer.  We also made a donation to Rhett Hackett of the Humanity Preservation Foundation, which is a group that educates people about the abuse of children, domestic violence, and bullying. See ya next year!

A special thank you to Bruce Halliday Golf Outing Chair and Donna Volz and Satellite Members for chairing the Gift Auction and Prizes for the event.

Everything was perfect good weather, good food and drink, and a good day of fellowship.
